Jack Sawyer
Mighty fine John, especially that last one! Despite not liking MSFS for not having quality planes it would be good for comics.

I think the planes in P3d v5 fly better and the cockpits are easier to read.

kabo
Hello I enjoyed the LOWG airport until yesterday's update. Unfortunately, after installing the update, there is always a CTD if I choose LOWG as the departure airport or when I arrive at LOWG as a destination. In the past, the airport worked without problems. Today I tried to uninstall the scenery, then reinstall it, first to MSFS (always CTD occurs) then to the Orbx library - no CTD but there was a problem - the installation to the Orbx library did not take place for me and the default airport remained in the scenery. I tried everything with an empty Community directory. The default airport is OK. Regards Karel
lifejogger
Hi Karl, did you post this in the Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Forum?
kabo
Hi John Not yet, because it seems to me that the problem is in the LOWG update: the problem arose after the LOWG update, the previous version worked perfectly, the default airport is also OK, there has been no MSFS update yet. Deleting the rolling cache did not help. Moreover, today I found out that my Orbx LOWI airport also makes CTDs. Reinstallation did not help. Orbx LOWW works OK. Regards Karel Hello Karel, the problem is not with the Orbx airports. it is with the simulator and has affected all kinds of products by many different developers. This is a summary that I wrote elsewhere but is the common experience. Quote The problem is .cgl photo scenery insert files in addon products, whether airports or not. If an addon has such a file, as this one does, the simulator will CTD. If the .cgl file is disabled by renaming its extension to .cgX, the simulator does not CTD. It the addon does not have a .cgl file, the simulator does not CTD. The change seems to have been overnight yesterday (Thursday into Friday) and the most likely explanation is that Asobo made a change of some sort to their Bing Data. This theory is supported somewhat by the fact that if Bing Data is switched off, the CTD does not happen.
kabo
Hello Nick Thank you very much. You are absolutely right, renaming the cgl files really helped. The problem is in the simulator. Let's hope our friends at ASOBO eliminate this problem faster than, for example, it takes them to remove the terrain spikes .
