TEGB Vulkanised!

Recommended Posts

Thanks to this excellent thread here - I gave XP11.50b13 a try-out:

I did the usual "Crash 'n' burn" test - ie. all sliders maxed out :o:D ... and was rewarded by some amazing sessions - with no CTDs.

I know Xvision doesnt work with it any more. Are you missing a tool like that? Just curios.

The lighting in XP has always been good - and I think it's even better in Vulkan, so there's less need for many of the xVision tweaks. However - I still find I want to adjust overall colour: brightness, contrast, saturation etc. so I use Reshade for that. It affects the whole scene, so there's no way, for example,  of just making the VC lighter as you could in xVision but it works well if you take a little time to set up the shaders (which you can preview in real time).

I also use FlyAGI, which covers some of the xVision functions.

Lovely shots...I love my Spitfire and have even landed it successfully at least once so far :)

If it's the Flying Iron version, I have no problems landing ... taking off is tricky!! I've written off four squadrons already! :D
