No Gerold, the Glasshouse Mountains are a series of volcanic cores so they area very prominent individual features.

I was hoping to visit them on my next trip to Brisbane but as my brother is moving back to Victoria I doubt if I will get there!

If you need a picture, take this one (taken last September):

Great looking shots. Lovely aircraft too. it always reminds me of the Jetstream S41.

Thanks mate, I love flying the S34, and it suits the many regionals available in Oz.

Great flight and set, Don. Is it the Glasshouse Mountains in #3?

And the view to Fraser Island in #6 brings memories to me …

Thanks Gerold, I love flying up the coast, some of the views are quite spectacular as you would know. Haven't been to Fraser for quite a bit, and age and now no four wheel drive anymore limits those sort of things.:( So much to see and places to go in Queensland, lot of fun for a tourist.

My God Martyn,  why would he want to leave the sunny warm north to go back to bleak cold Melbourne? (Of course unless he has to for personal reasons.)

I do have to admit, I miss my old home town, and my visits are becoming more and more infrequent.:(
