Hauer Posted April 19, 2020 Share Posted April 19, 2020 Following the tip given by Gerold, alias Stillwater, I planned a route from Bamako, Mali to Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Not the most logical route but keen to see the Boni Rocks... Unfortunately, upon arrival at Abidjan the airport had a severe elevation issue which I have in the meantime corrected using Orbx's Global Vector. So no arriving runway capture on this occasion! Now I will need to find the Boni Rocks on my Africa tour as well... Nice sand walls on you last (Abidjan) picture as well... and we see Henriks ships working perfectly. together with your report on the elevation correction this is good motivation! And in which picture are the Boni Rocks? Lars, I'm going to test it again tomorrow. Will let you know if the Orbx Global Vector adjustment holds... Screen captures #7, 8 & 9 BUT at an altitude of 37k it was not ideal. I think if one flies with a GA aircraft or helicopter at low altitude it would show much more. Hello Lars, I just tested my previously encountered elevation issue when landing at Abidjan and can confirm that the entry made in Orbx Global Vector has resolved it. What I did notice while taxing to the runway was that I was getting call-outs, "100 above" and the ride was a littly bumpy. Otherwise all went as supposed to do.
