RodgerC Posted September 13, 2019 Share Posted September 13, 2019 Day begins leaving Big Bear (L35) and heading to Palm Springs for a round of golf and lunch. Departing the Big Bear area enjoying the scenery. Great day for flying, hoping a for a great round of golf and lunch. Turning final into Palm Springs. Having second thoughts about golf and thinking a trip to the WWII Museum would be nice. Departing Palm Springs after a visit to the museum and some lunch. Extended approach back into Big Bear. Just cannot get enough of the scenery. Finally time to land and call it a day. Just looking for a parking spot. Guess all good things must come to an end. Ahh, there's always tomorrow. I used to have a 3 monitor set up and it was great. But when I started using Pilot2ATC I had to give that up. So I got a panoramic monitor. Not quite as good but not bad either. Gave me a good 180* view. I'm not sure but this should give around mayber 120*-140* maybe. I do like it better than a standard monitor. Would not go back to that!!!
