Wow, that’s cool John.  We could use that as we’ve been experiencing a severe drought.  Flowers and trees dying due to lack of rain and no end in sight.  At least I don’t have to cut the grass :)

Seasonal onshore flow - low stratus in the morning becoming sunshine by noon.  This stuff appears to be quite low but that's Seattle.  These eastern plateau guys will be firing up the AC shortly and won't turn 'em off 'til October.  Did you know that helicopters can operate at lower VFR minima than fixed wing?
