Thanks Ken, I agree, despite it’s quality now I can envision a future where it will be virtually indistinguishable from real life.  But we have a long way to go.

 

I wish I could combine the best of both sims.  As I type this I’m back in P3D finally, making a nice V-Tail flight from OG39 to 77S and it’s all snow covered ground and looks terrific.

When XEnviro 1.1 comes out, Xplane will have dynamic snow which will have a more variable snow cover, rather than the static permanent snow we have in P3D now, snow ground cover and on roofs will depend on weather

Wow, that's amazing Ken, it keeps getting more and more real, I love it.  Thanks for this info, I didn't know this.
