VH-KDK Posted April 8, 2018 Share Posted April 8, 2018 It is only 25 miles from Martha's Vinyard to Hyannis and with the lack of time I get to fly these days this is an ideal flight for me. 1. It is quite overcast as we taxy out but there is no doubt of the location. 2. Setting off on the short hop to Hyannis 3. A more overall view of this wonderful FTX Global freeware airport. 4. Over Lagoon Pond with the town of Oak Bluffs 5. Passing the Oak Bluffs to Falmouth ferry over Vineyard Sound. 6. At Popponessett Bay and the Mashpee National Wildlife Reserve. 7. Now in the West Bay area. So many beautiful coastal locations totally ruined by the unbelievably stupid waves. 8. Approaching KHYA over Hyannis. 9. Arrival 10.
