scottb613 Posted January 22, 2018 Share Posted January 22, 2018 Hi Folks, A very cool airport how it sits on the plateau - been flying into the ORBX Freeware one quite often - it's a favorite... I made the flight in the A2A Skylane and the MilViz C310 from Billings to Jackson Hole a few times - - - no oxygen - - - is a game changer for the high altitude pressurized cabin fliers... You need to scout the terrain and there is one very narrow "relatively" pass you need to transit - I forget the name of the pass but I have a custom waypoint set in the GPS for it... About 60 miles southwest of Billings right at the base of the Beartooth Mountains. Beautiful area and would fit in well with flying the Jackson, Yellowstone, Bozeman area as well.
