Thanks PDX, the Auster is really nice plane for low and slow flights, FSX native freeware gem, from Dave Garwood, found on Classic British Flight Sim site. you are right, the sim allows us to do fantastic things, which would not be possible in real life. 1 hour ago, Mark Abdey said: Lovely shots BB... the Welsh tourist board would be happy with these. 1 hour ago, Taph said: Your just trying to make me homesick will be there next month Thanks Mark and Taph, It was on my to-do-list in RL, to travel to wales, but it has unfortunately become nothing and i fear ,it will become nothing. which is a pity. Anyway, FTX gives me a very good way to do this virtual Cheers Bluebear

bvdboomen
Nice caps mate! Yes, Wales. I bought it because I already had FTX England and did not want to fly in default FSX when crossing the region border. But a few weeks ago, I tested a newly purchased helicopter and flew almost the whole of Wales and indeed it's a nice region! And... it has got the Machloop. A few years ago i lived in an german "Mach Loop" area, where the british airforce made their Low-flying exercises. They use the large radio mast nearby, as turning point for their maneuvers. You could recognize the white in the eyes of the pilot, when they thundered over my house. Very interesting but horribly loud.
