Adam, which looks better?

I spent a lot of time this morning trying to figure out which looks better.

So here's what I did, I had the same parameters at two different places with two different PTS'a.

PTA 167-17 vs 16-06

Bell 407

AS16 on

KBOS - Summer - 1400

Chicago - Summer - 1400

The lighter ones are the newer one, 162-17, the darker ones are 16-06.

Thanks for viewing.  Opinions guys?

Thanks Scott.

Did I ask you, gosh I've asked so many.

Do you use PTA?  If so could you PM me your ini and HDR settings?

I want to try a lot but I do like Adam's and my wife said she liked the darker better too.

I prefer the lighter ones ;). Each preset will have different/associated recommended HDR settings - are you remembering to change them (as well)?

Also - try some shots with more sunlight to see if they fare any better. These all look pretty cloudy to me!

I'll set up a shot at an ORBX location we both have and you can try to replicate it. Whatever sky colouring you might be using (via Active Sky etc.) will influence terrain colours, but it might still be worth comparing. Do you have the ORBX weather themes installed?

Adam.

Hi Jack, I prefer the darker ones as well, I use my own PTA with HDR on. If you like I can share my settings. Just send me a PM :-)

Thanks Jack.  I have so many now my head's spinning.  I'm gonna stick with Adam's for now but I might take you up on your offer.
