By the way...the mountains in this region, in my opinion, BLOW AWAY, the Rockies in the U.S.A. Diverse, rugged, BEAUTIFUL....with some of the best generic Global coverage for texture that I have seen anywhere in the Orbx Global 'world'. Stunning. Well, I flew inland, and did not know where I was, but only that I was loving the mountain tops and valleys that I was skimming over. As I broke over one very high mountain...I saw a stunning vista....a bay.....and at the middle point of the bay, a town, with a commercial class (length) airport runway. I decided to drop altitude, and land there, just so I could then contact Ground and know where I was. The scenery folks, in FSX DX10 (Steve's Fixer), was absolutely stunning for a flight simulator depiction of real life. After landing and taxing up to where you will see me....I found out that it was; Tivat, Montenegro. I was so impressed with this mountainous and seashore scenery, that I paused the flight sim, and had to Google Tivat. I must have spent a half hour before coming here to post, reading up on everything 'Tivat'...and believe me...if I had the money, I be flying there for a vacation like there was no tomorrow! I highly recommend you place yourself at Tivat in FSX or P3D, and then fly over to Dubrovnik...for the flight path with be spectacular! Do this at dawn...and if you are lucky enough to have the program SHADE, you will see breaking shadows play upon the mountains as the sun rises to kiss the tops of them...simply a 'religious' moment, it will be... Here I am after just landing and finding out with my Ground querry, where I was....and look at those mountains!!!! If you love mountains and seashore...you have hit the Grail....so start sipping...:) Enjoy... Tivat, at near about late Dawn FSX DX10 Steve's Fixer, Orbx Global Pilots FS Global 2010 FTX Shade Please, please, please...ORBX...would one of your Dev's please consider to create a custom airport and local scenery for Tivat, such as you see here in my Google link. I can only imagine the FAT treatment, and hope that the dev's behind Dubrovnik, will give it the 'FAT' magic touch....it would be mind-blowing!
