Darrington, spot the birds.

Flown in and out of Darrington many times without realising just how much detail there was.

Never even remembered the timber yard.

One of the advantages of the Paramotor is seeing all the scenery close up including some crazy birds!

Where did you get the Paraglider from?

You can find it here, it is a fascinating contraption that is so easy to fly and land. The best way to get that extra bit close to the scenery.

The only more detailed view would be a walking spree with Mr. Avatar.

Greets!

Thanks Bermuda, I must try and get Mr. Avatar to work.

Very interesting shots!  Such cool scenery.

I need to spend more time there - that's the one where the approach (in a plane bs paramotor) has you screaming in over a river and alongside a mountain before banking for short finals?

I have not tried to land a conventional plane for ages. I will have to try again.

Be careful with those birds Martyn or this could happen :

Stone the crows John, I think even KFC would taste better than that!

Just made a flight out of Darrington because of this set, I've been neglecting this great little spot for a while, and you're right about the detail, it's really beautiful!

Thank you Greg, hope you enjoyed your time there.

Lovely shots, Martyn. Now you have to revisit all your payware airports to discover the full details of them! And feel free to post...!

Thank you Gerold, They are coming thick and fast at the moment. Unfortunately I also have been buying some new airports from other parts of the world  in the sales.

These sales always put some nasty kind of pressure on us. Plus, we have to stay updated with the newies. So hard for the CCs.
