My type of plane, my type of flying

VH-KDK

Recommended Posts

Mr Caaront asked earlier today about what was most important when we chose an aircraft.

Well Milton Schupe's beautiful AC 520 is right up my street.

You can get in and fly without too many hassles.

I have some A2A aircraft which are probably the best GA planes out there. I enjoy flying them but I get equal enjoyment out of this freeware.

Set the Auto Pilot and sit back and admire the wonderful ORBX scenery.

Ready to leave Ballina.

2.bg2.jpg

Up and away. It's new engines are nice and noisy as they should be.

3.bg3.jpg

The Richmond River, Broadwater.

4.bg4.jpg

Approaching Evans Head.

5.bg5.jpg

AC 520. Looks like the 2 ships are in trouble.

6.bg6.jpg

The Clarence River at Yamba.

7.bg7.jpg

Now following the Clarence to Grafton(I follow rivers). The large expanse of water upper left is also called The Broadwater.

8.bg8.jpg

The Clarence at Cowper.

Over the trees at the end of the runway.

Parked up after another magical flight.

Hope you enjoy looking.

I like those shots and in particular aircraft KDK. All of those smaller airports in Aus

you leave from, eg Ballina are they freeware and from who? ???

cheers Gumby

Sorry you did point out it was freeware, but who's? ::)

Thanks for the interest Gumby.

Ballina is one of Ant's Airports  http://www.antsairplanes.com/scenery.html

Grafton is one of the OZx  airports.http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/1825-ozx-au-complete-ozx-na-complete-ozx-libraries/

Amazing that this is freeware, so many fantastic airports and points of interest to visit.

Great set! Carenado is going to release this aircraft soon. Maybe it will substitute my not so complicated Britten-Norman BN-2. :)

Thanks RJ, yes lets hope it is not too far away. Getting to many aircraft to fly, but what the heck. Got to spend my dosh on something.

Very good ride! Nice bird, truly it allows a good visual of this splendid scenery.

Great shots!

Voyager

Thanks Voyager. Amazing landscape topped off with some splendid airports.

Great stuff, Martyn and a fine plane. Two other "easy planes" from Milton Shupe that I also like a lot are the Howard 500 and Beech D18S

Cheers Bernd. Have not come across those both sound interesting.

Many thanks for the interest and comments guys.

Very interesting aircraft and lovely scenery shots too. It will be interesting to see what Carenado can produce...

Thank you Francois. The Carenado Aero Commander is one I am really looking forwards too:). That and the Aerostar are my favourite GA twins although I like them all!
