Today we're doing a mucky weather trip between two Alaskan ports discovered and named by Spanish explorer Salvador Fidalgo.


 


Leaving the Cordova (Mile 13) airport enroute to Valdez with a forecast of chancy weather.

I did not know the background of these names, thanks for the history lesson. Plus, I recommend the direct route between these airports with real weather (means: with fog). These mountains make for a challenge... and the freezing engines increase it...
