what does the plug icon mean? I only just discovered what the star means by reading the post above...
These plugs tag every add on (payware and freeware) airport, POI, building etc.
Not sure though if they also tag every object coming with sceneriy packs like the Orbx GB series.

Hi Wolfgang
Thank you
Yes, I understand that, thanks
The problem with that plug icon is that it's so tiny too, you need to zoom in a lot to see them and have an idea of where to zoon in, while with the star there is no way to miss an airport. 😊
Cheers mate
Carlos
Okay, now I understand.

Carlos, if I understood you correctly in the other thread, you like to have stars in order to easier locate your add on airports on the MSFS flight planning map. The stars are not an indication for add on airports though but for all enhanced airports. Also the default enhanced airports like e. g. the default EDDF come with a star. The indicator for add on airports is this funny looking small symbol (a plug?) you can see left of the star in John's screenshot above.

Yeah I have heard of this before John, would it not be through Content Manage?
You have been quicker Wayne. 😀

John, just go to Content Manager and remove any not wanted plane, scenery etc. from there.

Absolutely!
And definitely the oldest still "really" active thread in these forums.

Thank you for sharing Adam! This brought back memories of my visit of the Amish community in Lancaster County around 1990.

Hmmm, would that be the NZ198 service from Auckland to Hobart?
Yes, these green "arches" (or what you will call it) look like Hobart.

Hi all. I just ran into a marvelous resource for MSFS 2020. Most of us know the frustration of not having a directory of airports by country in MSFS 2020. A guy calling himself "The Brein Corporation" has compiled a full airport list and set it up to display on a Google world map. It's easy to use and really helps in flight planning. Here's the link: https://msfs.breincorporation.com. Hooray for The Brein Corporation!

Great find Rodger, thank you very much for sharing. The airports are even clickable to get loads of information.
And thank you John for fitting the link.

Fortunately i had no issues with the update. I found it always strange how updates effect different systems differently.

Indeed a nice place, but landside, as far as I remember?
It is within terminal 1 so neither landside nor airside. It is not in the transit area though, if you are referring to this, but I don't think this was a requirement.

As always, I am a bit late to the party.😉
I recommend the "Airbräu" at Munich airport (EDDM). A typical Bavarian craft brewery, located at the edge of terminal 1, right at the plaza between terminals 1 snd 2. It even features an al fresco "Biergarten", that's a typical Bavarian eating and beer drinking area (hint, hint @flyingleaf 😜) on the plaza.
Good meals and drinks, friendly service, nice atmosphere.

Hello,
World Updates have always been optional and you have always needed to go to the in
game marketplace and "Get" the ones that you wanted before downloading them.
In my experience, that was all that was necessary yesterday as well.Hi Nick,
yes I know, but what I mean is that upon loading MSFS the sim was checking for updates as usual, then the message "there is a mandatory update available" appeared. I clicked on the update button and found myself immediately on the start site of the XBox Store, there where you can buy any kind of MS games and apps (not in the Marketplace). In the store I had to search for MSFS, found the different MSFS versions listed with prices, clicked on Anniversary Edition as if I would like to buy it and only then another update window telling me the size of the update and the space left on my SSD appeared. From there the update procedure ran as usual.

As the title says, strangely I had to do WU 16 via the MS App Store. Anybody else? I never had to do it this way before.

Orbx has YMML for MSFS and P3d in its portfolio, not for XP though AFAIK. Just check Orbx Central or the Orbx product site.
PS: I hope you are not just trolling 😉

One thing to consider is, that modelling airport interiors decreases performance, delays the release and increases the price. Of which the two latter are also or even more valid when including a panel for switching interiors on or off.

Moin HaJo,
