  1. Robbie Robertson, founding member, guitarist and vocalist of The Band passed yesterday at the age of 80.

In remembrance of Robbie here are two of my favourite compositions of his. Both performances are out of Martin Scorsese's film "The Last Waltz", a documentary of The Band's 1976 farewell concert.

  2. Orbx Central list all products that you have purchased not only gge ones you have i stalled. The later are marked by the green tick in the green circle. I personally find it very convenient to see what I just own and also what I own and have also installed in one single list.

Thanks Sascha - appreciate the update and clarificaiton.

If there's anything you can do to improve performance at YMML I'd be most grateful - Its probably my worst performing airport in MSFS - I can just maintain 30 FPS sitting at terminal C, and panning towards the city (which I guess adds workload) drops me down into the low 20's.  I've disabled all the options I can but compared to  iniBuilds KLAX or EGLL which are much larger, this is a killer on my system (7950X3D, 64gb 6000MHZ CL30, 4090)...

    Cheers

Turn off the FPS counter and you won't realize if it is 25, 30 or 50 fps. Smoothness is the much more important thing.

  4. Thank you so much for sharing these great videos Adam!

My I add my favourite live version of Hotel California from 1977 with the original personnel. Some incredible guitar work by Don Felder and Joe Walsh here.

Edit: and not to forget Don Henley, singing and drumming simultaneously - not the easiest thing to do.

Just my humble opinion. As I said there is no "Good" or "Bad" here. Maybe if you try a few of the more difficult RNAV approaches you'll see what I mean.

I have no problems doing RNAV approaches in in MSFS.

PS: I deleted most of this post as I was about starting just another sim war again. 😉

It seems to me that the decision to "fly" either MSFS or P3D depends on whether one wants to "fly" based on RL aircraft, practices, and procedures or "fly" primarily for the eye-candy. To me it seems that it's P3D for the former and MSFS for the latter. Or, better yet, just use both. There's no "good' or "bad" in this decision but, rather, it's just a matter of personal choice.

I would be interested on which facts this statement is based.

Thanks for the offer Wolfgang. 👍 However, I have now found it on the Just Flight website.

That is the problem Wayne, It is not showing up in the community folder. I could not find it anywhere. But I can still fly it. 🤔

Thank you all for your time and help.

Good to hear you have the manuals now. Have fun flying this lovely bird.

Sorry, guys, I can't find anything relating to the Arrow there. I fly it a lot so I know it is installed. It is just that I don't know how to get rid of the notepad in the cockpit. Any more hints, please? 🤔

Hi, you can toggle the notepad via the I/COMM switch located in the top right corner of the main panel.

And there should be a shortcut to the manual in the start menu via "Just Flight (MSFS)".

    Hope this helps.

    Hello Rodger,
this guide is about a village close to where I live.
Walk: Deep Dale and Bishop Wilton, East Riding of Yorkshire | Countryfile.com
It may not be dramatic but there are far worse places to be.

In the opposite direction is this bridge, which is older than the USA and still carries
all the traffic over the River Derwent

Lovely! Coming from a very mountainous area, I actually do more often like rolling hills and dales.

But I do not catch how they can play football on such a small bridge. 🤔

hopefully - IT - will be available on Marketplace someday - then I can use it for both PC and X Box and guaranteed for 2024:D

I am not sure about this John. If I remember correctly in the Q & A on the MSFS homepage it says something like most MSFS products purchased via the Marketplace will be compatible with MSFS 2024.

    But hopefully you are right.

Oh you are saying it doesn't download?  That's a different problem.  As many many threads here point out, slow downloads are almost exclusively a problem between the Orbx servers and your computer.  Mostly it'll be a problem in a server somewhere that involves a corrupted file or similar.

Most internet servers are reset every couple of days so maybe try again soon.  Another way to check if you can get access to another computer on a different internet provider is to log in and start a download, it'll soon be obvious if the speed is normal.

I used to use a budget internet provider but international downloads such as from Orbx used to regularly slow to as little as 100K/sec so I moved to a full price provider and downloads are never less than 5MB/sec.

Sadly, downloads from Orbx are partucularly slow.

Just the same as the Orbx homepage is. The forums are okay though.
