I reiterate, it's likely to be something associated with your provider.
When I had the problem I took my computer to my sister's house for rigorous testing, and her provider delivered consistent full speed downloads. When I took my computer back home, same problem, Orbx downloads started full speed but dropped to a crawl after a short time. And yet the speed tests across Australia were all consistently full speed.
However, I was given a speed test that actually measured international speeds through my provider:
http://www.myspeedmeter.net. That test confirmed that data coming from international servers was being throttled by my ISP or further up their network. Since I moved to my current provider, international data comes through as fast as Australian data.
I'm not sure what you think Orbx can do about ISPs that can't deliver their content at full speed?
John, I do not think, it has anything to fo with my provider, because I get pretty good download speeds with all providers, except Orbx, which starts reasonable for a few seconds, but then slows down to around 20 kb/second. For me it has always been like this as far as I can think back, while with all other downlods it is usually the other way round starting slowly for a few seconds but then speeding up.
If it is not Orbx' fault, can it be the connection between Australia and Europe (assuming Orbx' servers are located in Australia)? Orbx ist the only Australian company I do online purchases from.

I think it is just the same reason as when zooming in close in Google Maps satellite view in an area enhanced with 3d buildings and vegetation. There you also get the same kinda melted buildings and trees, even worse than in MSFS with Bing 3d photogrammetry (I usually write PG, cause me too can't spell this word correctly 😂).
But to my taste PG still looks far better than non PG.

Thank you for uploading Adam. A guitarist extraordinaire and his playing style was so unique. This concert at Ronnie Scott's is one of my favourites.
And lots of other famous musicians can be seen in the audience.

See linked thread. Nick kindly at least responded but was unable to answer. Somebody in Orbx would know...
Many thanks
Anna is the Orbx boss. I'm sure she would know. 😉

I will throw in a guess as I believe I’ve visited this airport several times in the past.
Rome - Fiumicino?
Yesss, perfect Paul! Well done!🏆
Hadn't thought that this would have been solved by the first guess.
Took the video yesterday, when we departed on Wizz Air Malta flight WMT 8513 (W4 8513) via rwy 25 to Memmingen (EDJA/FMM). In the shot you can see rwy 16R/34L and taxiway A.
I'll probably post some more pics tomorrow.

I have to smile. Always the same moaning and nit picking is going on, when a GB scenery pack has been released.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

Nice to know, looks good
Is it going to be a free update or is it going to have a symbolic price?
Is there an estimated time of release?
Cheers
Carlos
Quote from Sante's opening post:
- Completely re-done from scratch entire Project, nothing left from V1
So I assume this will be priced like a new airport. It is also much more included than it is in version 1, like the city etc.

If we take AYYW, the strip is about 1,535' long.
In the real world the C208 ostensibly needs 3,660' to depart & 1,853' to land, so you may need a hopped up version to get in there.
The Kodiak 100 needs 934' to get out & 765' to land, so it is definitely a starter.
For the PC-6, you are looking at 640' to go & 427' to land, so it looks good.
Now, I need to find the Kodiak & PC-6 somewhere in the hangar.☺️
How far off release are we Ken??
TTM
Hi Tiger, most if these strips have quite a steep incline which might have an impact on landing and take off distances.

Hello,
a party line was a shared telephone line.
We had them here in the UK too.
PF Flyers seem to be footware in the USA, aka sneakers. Thanks Nick.
We had shared telephone lines here, but it was not possible to simultaniously use the line. Sometimes one could very faintly here another partizipant talk, but this was by fault.

Maybe I would remember the following two, if anybody just could enlighten me what they are:
1. Party Line
2. P.F. Flyers

Great quiz. I remember 9. But then some of the others I probably only don't remember, because they have not been common here where I live.
