  1. Thanks for your kind thoughts Rodger.
  2. Thanks Iain. Hope you are well too and the day was great.
  3. Many thanks Mr Gumby, as Marvin said, "life, don't talk to me about life!"
  4. Glad to be of help. Flemington racecourse is shown and the rest of Melbourne CBD has had some excellent work done on it. I am sure you will enjoy flying around this vast country, there is so much to see.
  5. Phillip Island is there as is Albert Park. Calder Raceway only has the mesh for the banking on the Thunderdome but it is farmland! Nothing except for the lake at Sandown the rest being houses. Winton has some of the perimeter roads and I assume they are the gravel traps for the run offs but no actual circuit. Hope this is of help and if I have the time I will try and see if there are any other tracks in the other cities but I don't like your chances.
  6. Excellent images and a very unusual plane, a great find.
  7. Another excellent scenery for that part of the world. Many thanks.
  8. Splendid set Adam and I hope you didn't put your back out speeding along that flat runway!
  9. I am more than happy with this excellent news with something here for everyone.
  10. Yes indeed, well done. Part of our Pearl Harbour tour was a visit to the museum but we didn't have a lot of time to look around. The airport here on Ford Island closed in 1999 but you can still land here in the Orbx Honolulu scenery!
  11. Looks a bit like 2B2 Plum Island! There again you said it probably wasn't an international airport but it reminds me of Honolulu.
  12. Not here Gerold but I did a flight around Vancouver and another at Juneau, both in Turbo Otters on floats! We did see Denali/ Mt McKinley both from the train and on a day trip the next day.
  13. Well done, yes indeed it is PATK. The photo was taken from the train on our way from Anchorage to Denali. A nice change to see Otters on wheels and skis after the floatplanes in Victoria and Vancouver!
  14. This is the location if one of the excellent freeware airports form the Global Airport Pack. It is not as difficult as it appears and a bit of detective work should easily solve the location.
  15. Thanks gents and that must have been a wonderful place to visit and see all the Qantas history. It sounds like you had a great trip and there is so much to see in the vast remoteness of the outback and it is a real eyeopener to those from more inhabited parts of the world. I had only been here for 2 years when I did a camping bus trip to Ayres Rock and it was an amazing experience. I will try and find a photo later tonight for the next airport.
  16. I would imagine it is the Qantas Founders Outback Museum at Longreach.
  17. A good point Graeme. My eyes were immediately drawn to the cranes and also I had two occasions at Brisbane last year when I used the stairs instead of the jetways! Just looking at Google Earth, the cranes do appear to be in the right area and also there are some trees around the loop at the end of Acacia Street which looks like a handy place to park and watch the planes!
  18. Looks like I have been beaten by 4 minutes Graeme, exactly what I was going to say!
  19. It is easy to see why you are hooked in this scenery, glorious images.
