A rolling radome gathers no Moss

The Tu-126 was a derivative of the Tu-144 airliner which in itself was based on the Tu-86 .

It served with the Soviet Air Force from 1965-84.

This one is in Bangkok helping to test out some of the changes I have made to my FSX installation including the addition of REX Essentials.

Climbing away from Don Mueang over Talat Bang Khen

2.GW2.jpg

Rate of climb is impressive  with the Kuznetsov NK-12MV engines. The Rama VII Bridge is at the bottom of the screen. Bang Sue is to the right of the bridge. No further comments necessary!

The big loop in the Chao Praya River is at Bang Kobua.

4.GW4.jpg

The Chao Praya joins the Gulf of Thailand at Pak Nam. Great sound set on the Tu-126.

5.GW5.jpg
Chonburi is on the right of screen.

The Tu-126 was given the NATO code name of Moss!

Hope you enjoyed the short set.

Todays deliberate error.

The Tu-126 was a derivative of the Tu-114 which was based on the Tu-95.

The Tu-144 was the Soviet supersonic passenger plane to rival the Concord(e)

The Tu-86 was a project for a long range bomber which was based on the Tu-4 which in itself was a copy of a captured Boeing B-29.
