First part of a round the world trip in Ant's Eaglet. :)

Here we are about to set off from Penfield just north of Melbourne. :D

2.WthCI.jpg
Full tanks for a long haul. One passenger and luggage for our long trip. ;)

Up and away, the Eaglet struggling for height packed to it's limit. :o

4.N7T5B.jpg
Reaching cruising altitude. 8)

5.k6Vz5.jpg
Now descending into Riddle's Creek for our first stop on our epic journey.

6.DOnEz.jpg
A safe landing, first of many. ^_^

Plenty of great detail in these OZx airports.

Parked up for the night. After such a long first leg and plenty of flying ahead a good nights sleep is vital. >:D

Flight log

Distance covered 2,600 metres
Time airborne 1minute 53 seconds.

Nah...... this will take years at this rate. :-[

Just kidding.    As you can see the end of the runway at Penfield with Riddle's Creek just above the nose.

Two OZx airports very close together!

Good luck Martyn, I will follow your progress but are you sure about doing this trip only in this airplane that will be a very long journey then, I hope you don't get bored on the great area's where there is not much to see.

Cheers,

Ruud

Gonna be some long flights :)

Good luck for your project. We´ll follow your posts over the next years, and you will surely reach Emmsie´s mark of >>30 k entries if you continue like this.  >:D

Thanks very much for your great comments. I think I just may put this project on hold until I retire and hope that I live to well over 100.
