Inverness to Stornoway

I took advantage of the fact that everybody is flying around Sumburgh at the moment to enjoy the empty airspace over Scotland to fly from Inverness to Stornoway. ;)

Fine set of shots indeed.

cheers

Great shots, as usual Kasi :) If i would say the weather is typical british i think i would get into deep trouble with our friends from the islands ;)

Great set. Unsettled British weather up there too I see!

I like these shots Karsten, looks like a good place to fly.

Great set Karsten!.

Think about it.  All that rain drains through peat bogs creating the basic ingredient 'uisge'.  After many year in oaken barrels it becomes the Scottish exclusive.

Very nice flight... typical weather :)

Thanks a lot for your interest and comments! :)

Great shots Kasi, with nice weather. I can confirm it, because I arrived in virtual Inverness yesterday as well. We should have made an appointment in a pub! To do it better in Sturnaway: Stay close to the harbour, I´ll come around (we cannot miss there, not too many pubs downtown).

I always pronounce "uisge" a bit different. At least before I drink it.

After I drink it, pronunciation is difficult.
