Cheers Mallard In fact, when there is a B747, it's an event, like this Nippon Cargo in 2013 that you can watch on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH2ncIk0QKo . The sand is lifting of each side of the runway as the pilot applies full power... OK - so they do not get them there every day... Otherwise they would probably have to repair the runway on a weekly basis.
