Dappers
An Albatross D.III conducting a lone reconnaissance mission behind the British trenches. I have attempted to edit these shots to look like WWI era black and white photos. The second shot shows the same picture but edited to look like the early colour film of this period. All shots were taken at Damyn's Hall and FTX Global. Above cloud cover: Passing over an area of 'No Man's Land': At the same time, the British are moving a group of Mark IV tanks up to the Front to take part in an upcoming offensive: As the Albatross passes over a forested area, the pilot sees something in the distance and decides to take a closer look: The pilot makes several pass overs to take aerial photographs: Returning to base: The reconnaissance photos: Thanks for looking! Dappers
Thank you eveyone! Impressive work mate...love the feeling. How did you get and position the tanks, aircraft and other WW! scenery? I used FS Recorder to play as traffic and added each tank/ plane one after the other and used slew mode to position them. The tank model comes from the Abacus WWI Mission: Dogfight add-on. It also comes with a German A7V. The planes used are Aircraft Factory's Albatross D.III, freeware NeoQB's Fokker D1 and a freeware Taube and Zeppelin Staaken.
