TigerTigerM Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 (edited) A short flight between 2 of the 7 Ken Hall PNG Set #2 airstrips. Holy ---, AYTIS is hard to get into. I overflew it several times as it was difficult to pick up on the ridge as there was a village on a neighboring spur with a radio tower that threw me off.. AYTP is longer & more accommodating. A few pics. If you enjoy hand flying bush locations at 7,000', this is the place for you! TTM PNG residence at AYTP, (Tep Tep) Smoking chimneys assist with locating airstrips. More housing at AYTP. AYTP, top down. Leaving AYTP. This, I think, [per the GPS], is AYIS (Isan). Tricky to get into, need to get lined up a long way out.
