Scott Harmes
I recently flew back from Adelaide, and stopped by the new Vickers Vimy exhibit at Adelaide Airport to see it. It's a great display, with lots of audio and video playing, and interactive information screens. They moved it from the external display which used to be located near the staff car park, and have moved it inside, easily accessible from the terminal and located just behind the Atura Hotel. Such an impressive machine to see up close, but I just cannot imagine how those four brave men flew it around the world!
Rodger Pettichord
Thanks for sharing the photos, Scott. Hard to imagine going to war in something like that -- freezing, exposed, totally vulnerable. Yowsa!
