When I feel the need to go to the mountains North East New Mexico is just a few hours from where I live in Texas.

Eagles Nest Lake  and the Moreno Valley ( A very beautiful valley in real life). Angel Fire Ski Area is just south of here.

Glad to bring back those memories for you Rodger.

One of our favorite places in NE NM is the town of Red River.  That is where the Sundance Mexican Restaurant   which is very good.

Did you have a plastic bag for your wet speedos?

 

New Mexico has a lot of variety when it comes to various types of terrain.  No need for a plastic bag, I have flown under that bridge before, lots of room.
