noted LOWI - Strange Lights in the Sky

When i start at Night in LOWI there are strange , maybe Streetlights inthe Sky .

The developer has said that there needs to be an update to the simulator to resolve this.

Oh, I bought LOWI on day one but wasn´t until an hour ago that I made my first  night flight from here and I got the same problem. Glad that the issue is known.

Today i made my first night flight over Innsbruck and also saw this lights in the sky. It must be a MSFS issue. I turned Orbx LOWI off and the lights are still there.

The last update didn’t solve the problem. I still see lights floating around LOWI.

I just had some close encounter of the third kind with those floating lights upon an approach to LOWI. I flew into a flock of them and it was really impressive. The lightend up the interior of the cockpit when passing them. Looked really awsome.

That made me curious and I checked it out. These lights are indeed copies of street lights below. When you place yourself axactly above one of these lights you will find a street light exactly below it. You can also see that the pattern of  the lights are identical with patterns of streetlights beneath.

Hey gang, did a search for the LOWI floating lights and I'm now following this.

 

I as well, on a freshly installed MSFS2020 + LOWI installed through FTX Central; get these floating lights. Very annoying, but hey - Patience right? Hopefully it gets solved on the next update.

There are floating lights in default "enhanced" scenery like CZST as well.

There are many instances of floating lights and Asobo are working on a fix but have given no timetable. All developer companies are waiting for the fix and Asobo as well because those floating lights are also seen in various default scenes.

as this problem is so well documented and the means to fix it is not in the hands of the Orbx developers,

I will lock the topic pending the release of a fix by Asobo.

It seems that it affects all users.
