Hauer
Actual scheduled A320 flight from Belgrade, Nikola Tesla Airport bound for Zurich, Kloten Airport. Please don't ask me to translate the Swiss airport name into Dutch! Conditions were very cloudy with an abundance of thunderstorms. I was quite surprised at the flight level / speed restrictions over the Belgrade area as I had to fly a considerable distance at a mere FL60 / 200-230 knots. Had to apoloige to the passengers for the severe turbulance because of it... The flightpath took me via Hungary, Austria, Germany into Switzerland. Let's go! Herman Departing Nikola Tesla Airport (no, Elon Musk doesen't own it!) Climbing out of Belgrade A long climb due to considerable flight restrictions in the region (oh, those trees look wonderful... thanks, Orbx!) Cruise level FL340 after a long delay Some gorgeous mountain scenery with deep valley villages... Flying along the outskirts of the Austrian Alps To be continued/. Thanks for looking! Jack Sawyer
Nicely done Herman but I have a question. Are you using a real-world air traffic control program? Or was this P3D's ATC that told you where to fly to avoid storms? I'm just curious. In my sim I do what I want since it's a sim.
Stillwater
Great flight Herman, and I see you are (just like me) doing some intermediate connecting flights in Europe! The altitude restrictions were most probably added by the Orbx designers, so that you can enjoy the scenery for longer.

Flight planning is done using rfinder.com and the data is imported into Pro-ATC/X. I then also export the flightplan data in both "pln" (for weather tracking purposes) and "flp" formats so as to load it into the Aerosoft Airbus FMC. Hope it clarifies... That must be the case... they could have improved the weather too! Orbx has done a great job with Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport as they normally do withany airport they tackle. Approaching the Bodensee (Lake Constance) from an easterly direction over southern Germany Flying over Friederichshafen Airport, Bodensee (Lake Constance) We continue in a slight south-westerly direction over Switzerland Lake Zurich is where we do a sharp turn to the right so as to line up for the approach Lined up for the approach On the ground at Zurich Kloten Airport (no, I will still not translate "kloten" publicly into Dutch!)
