bernd1151 Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 In a Handley Page Victor, a plane I have never seen before. Apparently it was flown by the RAF from 1952 to 1963
olderndirt Posted May 23, 2020 Posted May 23, 2020 A brave man, using V11.50 - haven't had the nerve yet. One of the RAF 'V' bombers, along with the 'Vulcan' - excellent set of shots.

When I was about 3 years old, the Valiant always sent me scurrying in doors screaming when one passed low overhead on it's way to Vickers nearby tasting facility at Wisley. All noise and smoke, wouldn't it be wonderful to see one in action today!

I have tried Vulkan a few times, even with b9, and I had a CTD immediately thereafter, or I was told that my drivers are outdated (which they are not) and XP11 closed down. 6 hours ago, VH-KDK said: Beautiful images of this marvellous old plane Bernd. Many thanks, Martyn. My favourite V bomber is the Vulcan though. I have seen and heard it once. As you said about the Valiant: unforgettable 5 hours ago, adambar said: Outstanding shoots of an old classic Bernd! Jack Sawyer Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 Beautiful shots Bernd! I have always loved this particular British style of putting the engines in the wings so close to the wing root. It still looks futuristic!
