schtroumf
I start with a Dornier Seastar Kenmore with a ride on Hervey Bay. The car is a Toyota Lexus LS430 and the boat is a Sirocco GTX

olderndirt
I love that plane. Looks like someone designed a perfectly fine aircraft but forgot the engine. So they jacked up the wings, installed support struts and planted the engine on top.

Are there any different training requirements for a plane with counterrotating centerline thrust?
olderndirt
Just now, Jack Sawyer said: I love the design too OND. Are there any different training requirements for a plane with counterrotating centerline thrust? Back in my day, if you took your multi ride in a C337 your rating specified centerline thrust only. With centerline thrust don't how much benefit counter rotating props would be.
Jack Sawyer
I'm just wondering if it handles differently. I reckon if you back off on one or the other throttles you would just descend like a normal plane. But I'm wondering if the counterrotating blades provide any more stability.
