Aussieflyer38
Just a couple of the FREE A2A P40 I downloaded yesterday, before I crashed on landing. Spent a lot of time getting to know it, but obviously not enough. Very generous of these guys to make this great aircraft available FREE. Along with the plane you get some great history pilots/model. Its a typical warbird - not very forgiving if you goof up. I had trouble working the landing gear, hence wheels down, back to the books for more study. Thanks for looking Don

bvdboomen
It indeed is a great gesture from A2A and a really nice plane. For the landing gear and flaps to work you need to push the hydraulic pump button on the stick. There's also an option in the shift+3 menu to activate the hydraulic pump. Yes I finally did Gerold, but getting it down was another matter. Good fun and easy to fly, but ground handling I found a bit of a challenge. Thanks Jack, I read some comments a couple of years ago, from pilots that flew them during the war, and they gave them rave reviews especially for performance, but most said they were a bit of a handful when landing. I can vouch for that sim wise, bent the legs a few times already. Don

It was Adam, and a really nice aircraft, they could have just put up a cheapie, but this is real quality. Don
