Back in the 80's my wife and I had to use the emergency escape chutes/slides after one of the 2 prop engines caught fire on the takeoff attempt down the runway. This was on a Cork (Republic of Ireland) to Bristol UK flight. This was just one of 3 emergency escapes i have had to perform in my travels.
