Grew up in the Mascot area, my friend and i used to live right under the flight path of rwy 25 and as youngsters when we heard that DHL 727 coming in for landing or the classic 747s, best believe one of our phones would ring! The Virgin 777 was on its way to LAX and the Qantas A380 was off to Dallas Fort Worth, KDFW. The 747 just got in from South Africa, FAOR. I was on my way out to 34R, 10AM Virgin flight to Hervey Bay.
