Cool shot of a cool little plane but why are the tires sunk in the tarmac?

Either he loaded the plane while paused, or the runway is doing its best Orbx Gisborne impression.

'Tis a lovely plane no matter, though I prefer the USAF white paint that I grew up around.

I found an ice pick beside the tires that had Moorroopna stamped on the handle.
