TigerTigerM Posted December 31, 2019 Share Posted December 31, 2019 Always on the look out for the unusual aircraft & an email from A1/Sibwings turned up this morning with 2 experimental variants of the Antonov AN-2. Per Sibwings intro, as it is currently written: " First one build in 1949 An-2 NAK (Night artillery corrector) - aircraft with totally different tail fuselage section with observer glass cockpit and twin vertical stab. Airplane could carry different weapons on board. Second modification is one of the craziest airplane ever. This is experimental agricultural aircraft done by Poland Institute of Aviation with second turbojet engine on board. Were done to research the influence of turbojet airflow on crop dusting." Currently on an intro. deal for USD 16.95, I was delighted to find that all the operating switches have pop up tag that tells you what it is for & if it is on or off. BTW, if you do buy this, the initial load up has empty fuel tanks, hence a lot of coughing & spluttering &, non starting, until you gas it up. I have their 'straight' AN-2 & this new one is as enjoyable to fly as the former. Both lift off around 42 kia. Shots taken at Orbx Gothenburg Landvetter. TTM (P3D v4.5.13) Night fighter variant.
