olderndirt Posted July 9, 2019 Share Posted July 9, 2019 Based at Elma, need to move the PA11 (freeware) over to Olympia for its annual inspection, scheduled for 8 am. Elma's a little town where State route 8 meets US12 westbound - about twenty west of Olympia. It's a bit dusky for an aircraft with no position lights but I know the Tower guy so all should be fine. For those who care the road lights from the left are the last few miles of US101, to Tumwater where it joins Interstate 5 southbound. All the way from East LA, a beautiful trip. All these early Pipers are a delight to land. No flaps, throttle off, carb heat if you like. Throttle brings you up and the stick is fast/slow.
