VH-KDK Posted January 4, 2019 Share Posted January 4, 2019 Back in the early 70s we lived at Rossmore on the border of Bournemouth and Poole. I heard the distinctive sound of a big piston engine plane and on going into the garden I had a pleasant surprise. The distinctive Britannia tail plus piston engines meant a Canadair Argus. Plenty of memories from watching Last Night if the Proms on the TV in the 60s, some things have changed since Sir Malcom Sargent's days!
