KSFF and newest .dll files objectflow 2 and newest ftx..

After installing the newest fix that included newer .dll files for objectflow 2, one pre 4.3 for Prepar3D and one for Prepar3D 4.3 and newer, KSFF scenery from ORBX is broken again.

Anything that uses objectflow version 2 and maybe older versions as well as the people library does not work anymore with this scenery.

im assuming it’s because the original scenery has not been updated to support all the newer .dll library files for people flow and objectflow.

is there going to be a fix in the works or coming soon or do customers get a refund since it will never be fixed?

whats broken at the KSFF airport is roof and building walls missing textures, also all objects and people are missing at the airport that use to be there before all the newer ftx updates and objectflow .dll library files.

Currently using Prepar3D 4.3 with all orbx addons, using the correct regions and most up to date airport scenery’s from orbx.

objectflow 2 is enabled because it works for most airports just not KSFF anymore.

thank you.

Hello,

If you are seeing no roofs at KSFF, than objectflow is not working for you.

Despite your assertions, objectflow works just as it should in P3D.

Please ensure that yours is using the correct version for your version of P3D

and that it is ticked in both FTX Central and P3D add-ons.

Whether or not you see people at this or other airports does not indicate that

objectflow is working or not, peopleflow is something quite different.

No roofs at KSFF has only one cause.

Once again as stated, objectflow2 is enabled like always in ftx central and in Prepar3D 4.3 under addons and its using the correct .dll file.

KSFF  is broken and it has had this problem for quite some time after all the updates made to objectflow libraries which broke support from the scenery.

on a test system install al p3d 4.3 full install clean, then install ftx central, then install orbx libraries, then run p3d, then when it asks to enable objectflow v2, click ok or yes. Quit p3d, run ftx central, install ftx global, lc, vector, correct regions then KSFF.

then go take off at main default runway and direction, hit “y” for slew mode, go place aircraft over tower and hanger area and observe all people flow and objectflow objects missing.

search your own forums and other customers have the same problem recently and backdated to 2016 or so..

so if it won’t be fixed or repaired, I would like a refund please for a faulty product... as well as other customers..

thank you.

Hello,

the problem to explore is why objectflow is not working for you.

Can you attach C:\Users\kreml\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Orbx ObjectFlow 2\add-ons.xml

and C:\Users\kreml\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-0ns.cfg please?

Also, if possible, a screen shot of C:\Users\kreml\AppData\Local\Orbx\FTXCentral\v3.3.2.2.

Also, is your user account an administrator?

Thanks.

Most unlikely but you could try reinstalling KSFF.

Hello, Nick, reinstall the KSFF positive results did not give — no roofs :( Other airports NRM and CRM — OK. AU — OK. If the objectflow was not connected - other airports would show it. Any ideas?

If you install ENNK, you will either see it as the developer intended or not, depending on whther or not objectflow is working.

I don't think that the KSFF airport model is defective, since it works here, as shown in the screen shots and on thousands of other computers.

mmmm.... Nick, Narvik - OK

So, the problem is found. If use the summer landscape, then everything is in order. If it is winter, then the problem will appear again. Nick, switch to winter. ENNK in winter — OK.

Hi guys,

Could you please try this fix:

1. Download the attached file

2. Place it in the KSFF scenery folder: Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_KSFF\Scenery

3. This file will replace an older version of the same file.

Test it at KSFF during any month of the year, it should fix the issue.

Let me know how you go,

Cheers,

Jarrad

Is it possible to release this correction into scenery update so that the Orbx tool may advise us to update it? Thanks.

I have to agree - it would seem that with FTX Central it would be preferable to push this fix out to users as an update so we did not have to do this manually.  I would not have known about this fix until I tried to fly into KSFF yesterday and saw the missing roofs problem (flying in winter), and then came here to do a manual search as to what the problem might be.  It would be much less hassle if this was rolled out as an official update.
