Did they turn off the lights at Vegas?

Just flew there..nothing, not even a well lit small city, just some small town in the middle of nowhere, and yet even in the very early versions of Flightsim, the strip was a blaze of light and colour. Teecee.

teecee,

This is what Las Vegas looks like for me.

The Las Vegas strip casinos are part of the default P3D scenery library.

Is the default "Las Vegas" enabled in your scenery library?

L:as Vegas, New Mexico is a great little town.  Very scenic with a wonderful hotel on the plaza.  If anyone watched Longmire on Netflix, the office scenes were filmed in Las Vegas.  A door to a building on the plaza has his office name on it just as in the show.

I love and have watched all the Longmire episodes! I did not know that was Las Vegas New Mexico where they filmed that show. Nice information Doc_Z :)

All of it was filmed in NM.  Many different places, for instance his house is located in the northern part of the state near Taos.

Very cool...I have always loved the view out his front door/ from his porch....simply stunning scenery.

I'm just now watching the whole series on Netflix.  Love it.  Went to Las Vegas, NM a few years back.  Was told that Wyatt Earp himself had used the stairway in that old hotel when he stayed there, which made me float back in time.  Beautiful little town for sure.
