Jack Sawyer
For John.... Let's have a little tour of Perth and the surrounding area shall we? Like the yellow planes! Shell! That's all I feed my Corvette with. No buzzing the tower! There's the Royal Aero Club. Need to stop in for a pint! I love the details here. Russian? I'm flying and you're not, na, na, na, naaaaaa, na! I just could not resist! Topsy turvy day! A city! I don't know what that thing is but I like it! Tried to land on the AAPT building but it was having none of it. I like this shot. Ok, we can land here but I wanna play golf! What hole we on? VH-KDK
Wonderful set Jack and some great flying. I like your commentary too. The mystery object is The Swan Bells, named after the Swan River. There are 18 bells hanging in the 271 ft high copper and glass tower. 12 were a bicentennial gift in 1988 from St Martins in the Fields, London. The other 6 were cast by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry in London which actually closed this May after nearly 450 years. This foundry cast the Liberty Bell and Big Ben amongst others. So there!
