bernd1151
While we are all waiting for the latest master-piece from Ken and Tim. I thought to take a flight from Emo to Kagi. I had recently re-installed my P3D 2.5 and for some reason, now none of the nice little PNG airstrips show up anymore either on the GPS nor in the P3D airport list. I am parked here at Emo and the map view shows nothing at all. All my ORBX airports (incl. Jackson and Emo) are properly installed and show up in the scenery library of P3D Luckily I had saved a few flights in my previous 2.5 version, so I could somehow figure out, where those strips are. Taking off is a breeze, as the good old Do-27 gets airborne at around 45 knots The famous water fall I guess I can’t scare the locals anymore Passing over Manari. Kagi can’t be too far anymore Kagi can be seen at 3 o’clock It takes full power to move the plane slowly uphill to its final parking position Thanks for viewing

Ken Hall
Btw, does anyone know, how to make Tim and Ken's airstrips show up in the GPS and P3D map? Great shots only Kokoda will show on the GPS, all strips are pretty easy to find from there and all bar Emo are very close to each other, however the upcoming release all strips have there locations programmed into the GPS being far more treacherous and at altitudes around 6000 ft where clouds can make navigation very tricky we feel this is a necessity. cheers Ken

Scott Thanks Bugdani and Scott. It took me a bit of doing to make the Digital Aviation Do flyable in P3D. Basically if one wants to adjust prop rpm etc, one has to fly her in "simple mode". And for some reason you cannot open the doors anymore. But otherwise the old girl performs quite nicely and the way the cockpit starts to shake if your rpms are too low is still an experience that very few other planes even of much more modern development standards can replicate. It's a pity that no one ever bothered to give her a proper upgrade or develop a completely new version
