I have been thoroughly enjoying this scenery since it's release. I agree Pete, it is a marvelous package. Your images have captured some of the immersive ambiance of it. Very nice! :)

    Thanks Landon:)

I predict I will be spending quite a bit of time here:lol:

Holy smoke Pete!  I did the exact same thing today.  I agree 100%, this sets the bar very high.  I learned how to use the Xbox controller in drone mode and roamed around in there and all over outside, I must have taken 200 shots.  This will be plenty for comics, I already have some ideas.  Brilliant shots here!

    Thanks Jack

Good for you & the developer needs all of us to support him.

It is really incredible  that he has achieved the quality level that he has.  The file size footprint

is tiny and it is so smooth and fluid.  This is what , to me makes you realize that this is  a

    true next generation simulator.

I can imagine a comic or two with a friendly Leprechaun & a few other fairy folk running up and down

the corridors - hint, hint , nudge , nudge

How do you like the drone?

I kinda figured that once you got the hang of it, there would be no holding you back!

    Cheers & thank you:)

    It is appreciated

Quite amazing how graphics and  levels of detail continue to improve Pete! :)

Soon we won't need aircraft. We can just walk around the terminals! ;)

Thanks Paul! It truly is on many different levels!

I have almost 4 MM miles logged over my life so far, and I've spent a fair amount of

    time walking around terminals

Trust me on this one -- the drone is the way to go :lol:

    Cheers Paul and thank you!

  2. Hi Jack

I like these pictures a lot.:)

Even though I understand that the vertical stabilizer is so tall on this plane for control with a failed engine

    to balance the thrust.

it just plain looks weird to me.

    BTW about liveries

A little bit of "goofy" would be quite welcome from time to time

    Go 4 it!!

  3. Thank you so much for what you are doing  in such difficult circumstances.

I appreciate that it is so difficult to concentrate on a project such as this when your mind and heart are breaking over

    the current difficulties.

This looks so fantastic and will bring absolute joy and pleasure to all of us.

The Goose had had very positive reviews as well and reasonably priced too.

I got mine at the last Orbx sale.

What I really like about it is that there is none of the fancy electronics that make

me feel like I'm trying to fly an apple watch. Instead, its pretty rough and ready

and as others have said it handles well.  But the sound pack with it, is almost better

    than the aircraft.

Sometimes I just sit on the runway listening to it idle.  It is that good:)

I am totally confused, Pete. The one-who-was-always-so-pretty-in-red has now turned into a new variation. Probably a new escape variation, dangerously infective. And, as we can see, already very broadly distributed in Orbxland.

We can only hope that there will not be any new travel restrictions upcoming.

Gosh , you are so right Gerold. I hadn't thought about that

What a great looking set of images Pete, and I see the face too. Not sure if it's supposed to resemble someone specific or not, but I see a face. But, more important, your scenery is looking grand indeed :)

    Thanks Landon

I was pleased with it as well

No, not anyone specific. I just found it interesting that a bit of snow cover could result in something like that

I paused the sim and played with the snow cover to see if I could enhance it, but just a small adjustment and  it was gone - never to return

Ah, the "in" famous young lady .  She is still about , but I found at Skiathos, she is everywhere in blue!

  9. Just to add to Landon's excellent advice .  I bought an inexpensive  usb 3.0 to 2.5 in sata III cable which I have

used to do what you were enquiring about.

I'm not good anymore with putting my fingers into the internal workings of a PC , so this way I just plug it into

a usb port after the machine is up and running. This way I avoid the issue that Landon mentioned that the machine may

try to boot off this drive .  Then a quick format and it is ready for use.

Glad to hear that you are up and running again :)

As long as there are Orbx or partners products are in the shot its allowed.

  13. Hi Don

I truly believe that most people when they get up in the morning don't go through a thought process

which goes along the lines of  "Well what/who can I s...w up today ?"

So the next time you see your son-in-law , give him a hug and tell him you were sorry that you lost it.

In the greater scheme of things called life, don't sweat the small stuff.  And  this is the small stuff.

As TTM says this is the chance to get a new start with your system and an opportunity to have what you

    want & need.

And yes, I've done exactly what happened to you - twice as a matter of fact.  Frustrating as  h..l , yes, but the

world didn't come to an end , although it seemed it might at the time.

So have an adult beverage or your choice on us, take a deep breath and carry on.

    Cheers
