Thankyou Nick , Shall give your advice a try -
Hi , Just wondering how to fix LOWI Bumpy runway , has some un even areas , have updated to the latest Orbx LOWI for MSFS2020
-
With the release of MSFS2020 It seems XP11 scenery for Orbx is becoming a rare thing now. What happen to all the scenery that Orbx announced they where going to make for XP ? Such as the Australian airports. Disappointing Orbx.... Yes i will admit MSFS 2020 looks great , though aircraft is half ok , that's why i shall stick with XP11

resolved LOWI problem
Rodneyprice replied to tomasz.siejek's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator Support Forum
I had the same problem , then in MSFS2020 options / General / Data / settings there are 3 options , Online functionality , Bing data world graphics and Photogrammetry. Make sure all are set to on, That fixed the problem for me , and the sim looks so much better. -
A little tip before buying expensive GPU
Rodneyprice replied to Rodneyprice's topic in Hardware and Tech Talk
Hi W2DR , Yes i can see the difference , more so when panning around the cockpit, it use to stutter and not smooth at all , now very smooth. -
I have upgraded my system , been saving hard , Intel 10900k , MSI 3090 Graphics card , 32 gig DDR3200 Ram and so on. At first run of the new system i wasn't seeing if any better performance in the flight sims , going from a 1080 TI to a 3090 i thought it would blitz it. I then looked into my monitor, it is a 60hz 32 inch monitor , did some research on the hertz and found that was my problem, if you have a kiss ass computer but a low hertz monitor you wont see the benefits , so i upgraded my monitor to a 165 hertz MSI gaming monitor , now i can see the benefits , much smoother and no stutters etc. So my advice is , if you are going to upgrade to a better GPU , you also need to look at your monitors capability, something i hadn't know about for many years...
