And if I'm right the first version of the airport is older than the Orbx City scene and this is the problem. So everybody can decide for themselves if they want to use it together with the Sydney City Scene or not.

Thank you all very much gentlemen!🙂 The new v6 is good, will have a new graphics card later in the new year, I think Nvidia 460ti 16gb vram, and it will be great. Hope that Orbx will start working for v6, it's really worth it. And don't leave the whole business to MSFS. A monopoly is never good.

Thanks a lot John! Looks good because of the fantastic scenery and the lighting but the settings are too low. I have to watch my vram at crowded areas like Seattle and I didn't change the settings here, so could be more on the ground. Also the LOD settings and so on. For v6 and XP12 I will need a new graphics card. 🤔 This is really bad...it's a catastrophy!!!🙃 Thanks a lot John again! Thank you Graeme! 🙂 Is the scenery in MSFS now? You have a lot of vram as well, you can use high settings in v6. It has a very good performance, better than v4.5, but it needs at least 8 gb vram. They have a good new license now as well. Thank you Gerold and yes, the scenery is among the best ever. And thank you, I've seen you started v6 as well, very good! We have to break the MSFS domination! 🙂 Thank you very much Iain! And you may also want to install v6 so that we can enjoy your great shots which are not only MSFS. The lighting for me is better than in MSFS, the sun is a bit more limited to certain angles and daytimes. I.e. if you fly at noon it's completly above, straight up, This does not work in MSFS.

Great shot in that wonderful scenery. You can do what you want with your 16 GB vram, no limits. The vram is the biggest problem for me with my little graphics because the sim runs DX 12. Has a different vram mangement and it suddenly starts complaining and reduces the settings.

I'm just exploring the US TE in v6 and it looks much more impressive than in v4.5. The graphics are good. But some various addons do not work at all, scenery and planes as well.

Yes, it's of course a much higher version. But the scenery works, have 2 shots here. And I've loaded the entire EU cake, Global Base/Vector/EU_LC/TE GB/TE Netherlands/GEN/GES and 32 airports. The sim does not complain at all.

Thank you! And thank you very much! You can install the Lorby P3d Addon Organizer, it's free and it works for v5. Get familiar with it and it can arrange the layers for v5. And than you can trick it and copy the addon.cfg from v6 into your place where you usually have the addon.cfg for v5. But of course backup the addon.cfg from v5 before because you have to overwrite it. And don't start v5 as long as the other one is in. So, and now the path in the addon.cfg leeds to your v6 installation and you can arrange that all. Do it on your own risk and be careful! 🙂 It's what I do with v4.5 and v6 addon cfg. I also found a lot of bugs in the v6 basescenery creating issues, have to go in this deeper. Airport elev issues and senseless big things somewhere and so. I don't have that at all in v4.5.

Thanks a lot Gumby! And thank you Graeme and yes, it looks more realistic with the new light. And the performance is greatly improved compared with v4.5. I can do what I want, I always have 30 limited frames. Around KLAX in the TE with high settings and 60 % traffic, 30 frames. Scenery loads a bit faster as well. But some addons from v.4.5 do not work or have issues. This must be tested. The Fly Tampa Boston here works: Thanks Wayne, I've downloaded the entire thing again for that 🙂, nearly 40 GB. But it works. They improved the AA features. Flying itself also works very well, the aircraft is very stable.
