After looking at @carlosqr´s recent screenies of Milford Sound I was considering to buy this scenery. But, after disappointment with 2 other products (Auckland and Cape Town) and the total lack of any feedback of the Orbx team I just placed the question if the issues with Milford have been overcome meanwhile.
As I can read here and in this post (as cited) problems are not solved and - with the welcomed exception of The Problem Handlers (I mean @Nick Cooper and @John Burgess) - zero answers are given from Orbx. So I have to wait before buying.
If this does not sound happy, that´s correct. If I do not seem like an loyal customer, see at my product list below.
Hello,
I am sorry that you are dissatisfied.
The Milford Sound scenery is only retailed by Orbx, so any feedback would need to come from the developers, who are NZA Simulationsand in fact, that is exactly what happened:
The Orbx product for this area is the New Zealand mesh and I did indeed post a detailed explanation of the state of play with that Orbx product.
I agree that communication is key.
These days, most formal support requests are sent in via a Support Ticket.
If you send one in, I can add your suggestion about adding the missing Auckland landmark to the list of product maintenance tasks.-

PS - On a lighter note - are you any relation to Nick?
For the record, John Burgess is a highly valued and esteemed colleague and an excellent beta tester.
I deeply appreciate what he does here and behind the scenes.

However - perhaps they could explain - why the Central web site still continues to offer the Mesh for sale.
Hello John,
I did explain.21 hours ago, Nick Cooper said:Hello John,
the NZ mesh is already withdrawn from sale.It is only on Orbx Central for those who bought it before it was withdrawn.
It is not on the Orbx Direct website and it cannot be bought,
either there, or on Orbx Central. The reason that you can see that in the Orbx Central app, is because you bought the product.
The reason that I know that, apart from being able to see your Orbx Direct account,
is that you have the big blue "Install" tab.If someone who does not already own it tries to buy the product, like my alter-ego here, they see this:
No one at all can see it on the Orbx Direct website because it is not there:
I am in touch with the developer and he has not given up on the task of
making the necessary changes to the product to accommodate thevarious changes made by the World and Simulator updates.

Hello Howard,
it wasn't designed to need photogrammetry, but it always needed Bing Imagery to be switched on.
It is not alone in this, but anyone who runs MSFS without Bing imagery, might as well be back in FSX, so it's a non-issue.
As you should be aware, every time Asobo produce a Simulator update, they change things, often without mentioning that
they did and in any case without giving third party developers any notice.
Immediately after SU 14, trees appeared where they shouldn't and the very next day, Marcus published an update to fix that.
However, it needed photogrammetry to be switched on to work.
Now, he is going to make another update that does not rely on photogrammetry to remove the trees. So you can see that the photogrammetry "issue" is not a design concept, but a necessary reaction to changes that were not
forseen by anyone outside Asobo and not evident until they had been made. -

What is it with developers who create scenery that needs to have PG switched on before it functions corrrectly?
Hello,
two posts above yours, the Orbx developer of an Orbx product has stated that he will "patch the trees issue".

Hello,
please click on the red "Deaktivieren" box opposite SODE.
This will stop the automatic update.
Then you can install the SODE version that you need over the one that you have.
You will still need to ignore the SODE update message.
That is a fault in Orbx Central for which I apologise. -
Hello,
what are you trying to do please? -
Hello,
that should not happen, did you look inside the folder, to see what was in there?
That is not what happens here, so I would guess that there may be a file in there that Orbx Central does not recognise and cannot remove. -
Hello,
I missed this first time round and indeed for years after that.Found it now though.

Hello,
if you can put that into a Support Ticket, I can pass that on to the correct person to deal with it.
Thanks. -
Hello,
to cancel the job, please look at the Orbx Central downloader page and note the location
of the temporary files folder.
Close Orbx Central, go to that location and delete the Orbx folder that you will find there.
For future reference, to send in a support ticket, go to the bottom of the Orbx Direct webpage and click on Support. -
Hello,
welcome to the forums.
I do see the same.
Please send in a Support Ticket. -
Hello,
you will need to run P3D at least once before Orbx Central can see it.-

Hello,
as before, you can see it, but you cannot yet buy it.
When it is released, you will find the announcement here:Orbx Release Announcements - Orbx Community and Support Forums (orbxdirect.com)
No doubt there will also be an email and a Discord message, as well as other social media.

I did post on FSDT's forum, they finger-pointed at Orbx.
Hello,
can you link the FSDT topic where FSDT "finger-pointed at Orbx" please?
There must be another post elsewhere on the FSDT forum, this one has no replies. It is worth noting that Orbx Global Base contains no airports.

Hello,
in P3D v4, or v5, or indeed v6, there is no means to select gate 159 at KLAX.The spurious jetways do not appear to be a part of the default airport.
The airport building in your image does not resemble the default building in P3D v6.
There are no company logos on any P3D default jetways, so are there add-ons at work?
GSX perhaps, an addon airport? Here is gate 159 at the default airport in P3D v6:

Hello, you need open Windows File Explorer and navigate to
(Your FSX main folder)\scenery\world\scenery.
There, you will find a file named trafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI
Use the rename function to rename it to trafficAircraft.bgl -
Hello,
Orbx freeware AI aircraft installation disables the default AI aircraft traffic file.
However,Orbx AI traffic only provides custom AI at Orbx airports. You are looking for trafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI
