Hello,
there is a long topic here that may give you some answers: -
Hello,
here it is with MSFS traffic:and with FSLTL at 1730 16/12/23
I would guess that it has more to do with settings than with the Orbx airport.
-
Hello,
yes.
I too live in an English village and enjoy around the same connection speed.
For much the same reason, I don't use photogrammetry either, but the Orbx addons look fineand fill in the gaps left by the World Updates.

Hello,
here is a useful list that is up to date to last month.

Hello,
welcome to the forums.
The Orbx City packs do not add photogrammetry, just models of the most important buildings.
In almost all cases, they also do not replace default MSFS landmarks, so if there is an MSFS
World Update for the city in question, you will need to install that to see some of the landmarks.
How slow is your internet connection? -
Hello,
the P3D message makes perfect sense, because by reinstalling Windows from scratch, you will have wiped the Windows registry, which contained the P3D licence.
-
Hello,
before Orbx Central can see any of the simulators, they each must be run at least once.
The P3D message at the end of your post is telling you that P3D is not properly installed and registered,so it might be that none of the others are either.
I would think that the first step would need to be reinstalling the simulators and getting them to run.Once you have done that, if Orbx Central is still not working, please send in a support ticket.

Hello,
the answer to both questions, is yes.- 1

Hello,
thanks.
As I am given to understand, Partner developers send the files to Orbx and they are then added to Orbx Direct.
I have asked if that has been done.EDIT: and it has been done, today.
You should expect an update to the version that you want, soon. -
Hello,
the files are already compressed and are decompressed by Orbx Central. Here is a randomly chosen download notification:
QuoteCompatibility
General
You will need Orbx Central to download and install this product. Orbx Central runs on Windows 7+, macOS and Linux. An internet connection is also required.
The download size of this product is 2.44 GB. It uses 4.05 GB when installed.
Orbx has been delivering files in compressed format since 2006 and Voz did the same before that.
The only difference between then and now, is that you don't have to decompress them yourself.

Thanks and the same to you.

Hello Richard,
please uninstall the entire airport and make sure that the orbx-airport-egnm-leeds-bradford folder and any other folder named EGNM in your Orbx Central Library or your Community folder, if that's where you installed it, are deleted. Then make a clean installation and all these minor anomalies should be gone.
Thanks.
-
Hello Richard,
the initial release put the GSX profile into the orbx-airport-egnm-leeds-bradford folder, as you illustrate.
This was changed to the path that I have given you and all the other customers.
I don't know why.
Please delete the one in your illustration.

this usually works:- 1

After looking at @carlosqr´s recent screenies of Milford Sound I was considering to buy this scenery. But, after disappointment with 2 other products (Auckland and Cape Town) and the total lack of any feedback of the Orbx team I just placed the question if the issues with Milford have been overcome meanwhile.
As I can read here and in this post (as cited) problems are not solved and - with the welcomed exception of The Problem Handlers (I mean @Nick Cooper and @John Burgess) - zero answers are given from Orbx. So I have to wait before buying.
If this does not sound happy, that´s correct. If I do not seem like an loyal customer, see at my product list below.
Hello,
I am sorry that you are dissatisfied.
The Milford Sound scenery is only retailed by Orbx, so any feedback would need to come from the developers, who are NZA Simulationsand in fact, that is exactly what happened:
The Orbx product for this area is the New Zealand mesh and I did indeed post a detailed explanation of the state of play with that Orbx product.
I agree that communication is key.
These days, most formal support requests are sent in via a Support Ticket.
If you send one in, I can add your suggestion about adding the missing Auckland landmark to the list of product maintenance tasks.- 1

PS - On a lighter note - are you any relation to Nick?
For the record, John Burgess is a highly valued and esteemed colleague and an excellent beta tester.
I deeply appreciate what he does here and behind the scenes.

However - perhaps they could explain - why the Central web site still continues to offer the Mesh for sale.
Hello John,
I did explain.21 hours ago, Nick Cooper said:Hello John,
the NZ mesh is already withdrawn from sale.It is only on Orbx Central for those who bought it before it was withdrawn.
It is not on the Orbx Direct website and it cannot be bought,
either there, or on Orbx Central. The reason that you can see that in the Orbx Central app, is because you bought the product.
The reason that I know that, apart from being able to see your Orbx Direct account,
is that you have the big blue "Install" tab.If someone who does not already own it tries to buy the product, like my alter-ego here, they see this:
No one at all can see it on the Orbx Direct website because it is not there:
I am in touch with the developer and he has not given up on the task of
making the necessary changes to the product to accommodate thevarious changes made by the World and Simulator updates.

Hello Howard,
it wasn't designed to need photogrammetry, but it always needed Bing Imagery to be switched on.
It is not alone in this, but anyone who runs MSFS without Bing imagery, might as well be back in FSX, so it's a non-issue.
As you should be aware, every time Asobo produce a Simulator update, they change things, often without mentioning that
they did and in any case without giving third party developers any notice.
Immediately after SU 14, trees appeared where they shouldn't and the very next day, Marcus published an update to fix that.
However, it needed photogrammetry to be switched on to work.
Now, he is going to make another update that does not rely on photogrammetry to remove the trees. So you can see that the photogrammetry "issue" is not a design concept, but a necessary reaction to changes that were not
forseen by anyone outside Asobo and not evident until they had been made. -

What is it with developers who create scenery that needs to have PG switched on before it functions corrrectly?
Hello,
two posts above yours, the Orbx developer of an Orbx product has stated that he will "patch the trees issue".

Deleted P3Dv4 before uninstalling all Orbx Content
in General Discussion
Posted
Hello,
hopefully, you did not simply delete P3D v4, but uninstalled it.
If you installed all of your Orbx products into the P3D folder, all that is left
to do is to delete the remaining P3D folder.
If you installed all of your Orbx products into an Orbx Central Library,
they wil be in a folder maned p3dv4.
Once you have installed P3D v5, you can change that folder name to p3dv5,
run Verify Fles and Sync Simulator and they will all be ready to use in your
new P3D version.
