BradB Posted May 23, 2013 Share Posted May 23, 2013 After spending another night at Shangri-la strip , I collected by nerve and my gear and attempted to get the hell out of Shangri-la . I know I needed every bit of strip possible to get my bird aloft . Made it ! . And now on to Ryan Lake . Ryan Lake and airstrip spotted , now to set up for the approach . I found this strip less of a challenge than Shangri-la to land at . Many thanks to AirborneStig and Orbxtreme ( Francois ) for their contributions to this forum . I have not tried Shangri-la yet but it does not seem to have obstacles at the beginning of both runways, from what I see of your pictures at the beginning of your set. Less large obstacles than Ryan , but the strip is much shorter . And watch out for the earth dam at east end of strip . Congrats Francois on hitting the 500 mark and life membership .
