jaydor Posted May 6, 2013 Share Posted May 6, 2013 A VOR navigation exercise was held at North Bend Oregon and members (me) had flown down from NAS Whidbey to represent our team. The VOR's used were Roseburg, Eugen and North Bend (OTH) for the return. The return was a 15 minutes from Eugen before a VFR deviation to land at North Bend Runway 13. Oregon is not shown much here on the Sc/shot section, but is a fantastic scenery section of PNW 1. 2. 3. showing the HSI nav1 VOR 2 nav2 with the gps switched to VLOC (gps for safety ref only) 3. 4. The turn completed at Eugen for the last leg to OTH 5. The deviation heading out to sea for landing at North Bend 6. Final for runway 13 North Bend 7. The route showing each leg and the deviation. 8.
