Guys, after a break from simming, I have came back at it at just the right time, and you have re ignited my passion in such a great hobby.

I have to say, Long View Ranch scenery is out of this world. I had so much fun today exploring this area, with all the new flows and creature flow, the experience was like no other.

This is the pinnacle in flight simming... well done guys and thank you very much for bringing us this amazing scenery!

C'mon John. What extra is in the creature flow?

Or do I have to buy it to find out? Pretty cunning marketing plan, guys.......hahaha

Frank

In my opinion CreatureFlow is probably the coolest and most realistic flow from orbx to date. Jorge really did a superb job with the models!

I agree. Long View Ranch scenery is stunning and well worth the purchase. Orbx have raised the bar again!

Creatureflow is awesome and really adds to the immersion level but even if it wasn't included Long View would still be great scenery as Ken and Greg have done a fantastic job. The two airfields have a rustic look which I love.

I am looking forward to seeing creatureflow in future products. It is a great addition to the Orbx technology. Perhaps if Orbx have time they could animate two horses at Bear Gulch which would be great (my sister and niece are heavily into horses).

Thanks again for awesome scenery.

I believe that is one of Bills so I'm sure if you ask nicely he would add a couple of horses there , can't promise as It's Bills strip, but he's an amiable kinda guy and he has a release comming up soon that I'm sure he could add those horses in.

cheers

Thank you, Misha. Really appreciate.

No problems mate, i'm sure everyone admires and appreciates the work you put in to add to these sceneries. I've loved your work right from when you started with VehicleFlow at Fall City, and even though I wasn't too keen with PF2 when I first saw it, I actually really like it now ;)

Hi All,

I didn't see this thread before I posted my own. I agree that OG39 is well worth having. When I first loaded it and opened it I had many graphic errors, then I remembered ( DUH ) I had not installed NA CRM. Once I took care of that and restarted at Long View I was immersed in spectacular scenery and couldn't wait to get airborne.

I had often landed and departed from Columbia Gorge Regional at The Dalles but the airport was incomplete and the surrounding land was pretty bland. With CRM the region came alive and the different airports look much better. I could easily get lost flying out here in all this pristine beauty and happily navigate the canyons as I look for Long View ranch or Lands Inn. I do enjoy the scenic packages and they really add to my low and slow flying enjoyment. Thanks to Greg and Ken, well done.

One small criticism, why no parking slots? It spoils an otherwise superb job.

probably because we wearn't expecting quite as much traffic, seriously though theres no AI out here it is quite remote and with the complete snow flowing of all models meant they had to have the tex flow reduced in efficiency, so trying to keep it as frame friendly as possible and introduce the creature flow with a much ooomph as possible ,sacrifices needed to be made and AI was one, sorry about that, but we'll keep it in mind for future stips and a possible patch in the future.

thanks for the feedback Ron.

cheers Ken

Well, that little thing with missing parking spots is a little bit disturbing. But that is the only disadvantage of this little gem. The look is absolutely great. I did a fly around in the Cub along with Sarah yesterday and it was just breathtaking. It looks absolutely real. Great job :)

I'm not sure how these various 'flows' affect a parking slot or two but thanks for the answer.

Hi Ken,

You had the creature flow thing happening years ago at your Claude Rd airstrip in our back yard in Tassie.

You must have been the "brains" behind this technology all along? Nice to feel so proud that a Tasmanian

is making such a difference world wide. Well done!

Hank

P.S. You gave me a prototype of Wynyard airfiled when I moved here from down south about three years ago.

Since then I've had to do a reinstall and I've forgotten the name of the file you gave me. Is it still relevant?

@Jack

Just one parking slot would indeed be nice

No probs guys I'll make a modified APX file you can drop in, forgot that most of you do like to start at the airport not the active.

I'll put a post up when it's done so anyone who wants to add a parking spot can do so, again my appologies for overlooking this aspect.

@Hank

Wish I was the brains behind this hank, but that belongs to Jorge, and credit to john for employing such a talented guy to make our jobs so much easier.

As far as Wynyard is concerned is it the whole airport your after or just the missing tex sheet for the tyre marks

cheers

Ok guys, those who wish to add a parking spot adjacent to the terminal building at Longview, just in front of the Helipad you can replace the APX file with the attached file. you should backup your ORBX_APX_OG39.BGL located in ORBX/FTX_NA/FTX_AA_OG39/Scenery folder

navigate to Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/ORBX/FTX_NA/FTX_AA_OG39/Scenery folder and overwrite the existing ORBX_APX_OG39.BGL file.

When you open the start menu it is labeled as N.

cheers Ken

the same in P3D navigate to the same ORBX file and overwrite the APX in the Scenery folder there.

If your not confident to do this I will be including this in a service pack.

cheers again

Ken

Hi Ken,

Yeah for me the whole airport. Or did it come included in the latest ORBX 4 disc? I don't think so.

Gee Ken, you're going out of your way spoiling the "kids" to give them the parking space.

I've been busy with music for most of this year and haven't done all that much flying; but will

install this, the latest airfield from ORBX now. I'll see what all of the fuss is about.

Cheers

Hank

Yeah for me the whole airport

If thats Wynyard your referring to hank, I believe it's part of OZx 3.something, cant remember long time ago now, depending on the file structure you may just need the BGLs for the PR and any specialised LIBS however I recomend getting the disk from Dean at PC aviator which has I believe most of OZx on it then reinstalll and add any updates, otherwise you may have other files missinf for other airports as well, there file structure is different in that all airports are in one folder one for NA ,AU and the libs.

cheers

Ken
